Sustainability Overview
Treadwell and Rollo views sustainable engineering as fostering economic growth, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. We are proud to be certified as a Bay Area Green Business and to operate our firm in an environmentally-responsible way. From evaluating remedial technologies with an eye on reducing carbon footprints to the purchase of environmentally-preferable office supplies and services, implementing paperless technologies, and providing a green benefits program to employees, Treadwell and Rollo looks to lead the industry in sustainable operations.
Treadwell and Rollo is proud to have LEED Green Associates and LEED Accredited Professionals on our technical staff. These credentials, issued by the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, help us to apply principles of green building to our projects, to improve efficiency using energy, water, land, and materials, to reduce waste and pollution, and to protect human health and safety. Treadwell & Rollo understands that not all remedial engineering technologies qualify as LEED credit. Based on our experience with multiple LEED-accredited developments, we know what technologies will solve contamination problems and add to our clients’ LEED scores.
