Treadwell & Rollo performed a geologic hazards evaluation, seismic studies, and geotechnical investigation for the John Muir Medical Center building expansion.  This project included two hospital towers with a utility/service tunnel, a Central Plant, and a Parking Structure. Other improvements include a new loading dock, pavement areas, and remodeling of the Emergency Department.

Our geologic hazards evaluation and geotechnical investigation, designed to conform with California Geologic Survey and Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development requirements, included developing recommendations for the design of shallow and deep foundation systems, as well as earthquake design criteria and time histories for use in structural design.
