Bacich Elementary School

Treadwell & Rollo evaluated potential geologic hazards, performed geotechnical investigations, developed earthquake design criteria, and provided geotechnical engineering services during earthwork and foundation installation for Bacich Elementary School.  Our site evaluation report, performed in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 24, California Building Code, and California Geologic Survey, Note 48, was submitted to the Division of the State Architect for approval.

The one-story Library/Classrooms building, of wood-frame construction and with a footprint of about 5,150 square feet, is supported on a combination of cast-in-place drilled piers and spread footings.  The one-story Multi-Use Building is of wood-frame construction with a footprint of about 4,800 square feet, supported on continuous perimeter and interior spread footings.  The one-story After School Building has a footprint of about 4,750 square feet.
