Treadwell & Rollo is a fun place to work – a people’s place. 
For Maria, Treadwell & Rollo is also one of the best places for getting all-around experience. One of Treadwell & Rollo's Principal Engineers, Maria has provided geotechnical engineering for medical and educational facilities, commercial developments, industrial clients, municipalities and government agencies. Her projects involve both low and high-rise structures, dams and roadway design.
Maria's experience includes geotechnical design recommendations for driven piles, drilled piers, shallow foundations, retaining walls, and shoring systems. Maria also has extensive experience with geotechnical requirements developed by federal, state and local agencies, including the Division of the State Architect (DSA), Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development (OSHPD), California Geological Survey (CGS), and Caltrans.
This geotechnical focus stems back to her student days. "A required undergraduate soils course was my turning point," says Maria. "Until then, I had planned to go into structural engineering."
