Frank wants Treadwell & Rollo to continue to "foster technical excellence with enthusiasm and passion." Clients and co-workers appreciate Frank's ability to communicate technical issues while getting along with others. He welcomes the opportunity to mentor young engineers and is prized for sharing his understanding of how to construct a project. Frank consults and provides expert witness testimony on foundation-related issues.
Frank has expertise in foundation engineering for high-rise structures, port facilities, earth structures and pipelines. He has developed geotechnical design for alternative types of deep foundations and retention systems.
He has directed over 400 major projects involving soil and rock characterization and the response of these media to a variety of structures. Frank has evaluated methods to improve soil behavior under static and seismic loading, such as surcharging and chemical and compaction grouting.
