I enjoy projects that require unique approaches to geotechnical issues. 
During Richard's tenure as Manager of the Geotechnical Group, Treadwell and Rollo has successfully completed some of the Bay Area's most challenging projects, including large commercial developments on landfills as well as projects requiring ground stabilization. Whether these projects required building over 50 stories high or excavating over 50 feet deep, Richard knows Treadwell & Rollo is up to the challenge because the firm retains "a highly capable staff of geotechnical engineers with a wide breadth of experience."
As Vice President of Treadwell and Rollo, Inc., Richard enjoys maintaining direct involvement with many of the firm's undertakings. He contributes to the success of projects as Principal-in-Charge, or integrated among the team of engineers, by providing consultation and quality control.
